All currently published versions of this software library are released under the MIT License. Everyone – individuals, organizations and businesses – may use, modify and distribute them free of charge, including in commercial and proprietary applications, under the terms below.
Future releases: possible dual licensing
Dr. Marc Kronberg (gui.expert) holds the copyright to this software library and reserves the right to publish future versions under different license terms, for example a dual-licensing model:
Open source license: Individuals and non-commercial users can freely use and modify this software library under the terms of the open source license.
Commercial license: This license is intended for businesses, organizations, and commercial use cases.
Such a change would only apply to versions released after the change is announced. Versions already released under the MIT License remain available under the MIT License.
Contributions
To keep this option open, external contributions can only be accepted if the contributor agrees that Dr. Marc Kronberg (gui.expert) may license the contribution under both the open source license and any commercial license (Contributor License Agreement).
